The TNL Open Series began in 2023 to make adult recreational tennis more accessible to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. During the 2023 run, four tournament were hosted with over 249 players participating in the tournament from five clubs across the province. $4000 in prize money was awarded to winning players and clubs.
The series is back for 2024 with 5 tournaments and hopefully even greater participation! This tournament series is open to anyone inside or outside the province, whether or not they have tennis experience or are a member of a club. Each tournament may have additional categories, unique rules and various social activities, but all will have an open draw available to anyone!
