This page lists tournaments in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as regional tournaments of interest for players in the province. TNL is part of the Atlantic Tennis Alliance and our junior players qualify through the ATA for the national championships. When registration is available, the Tournament Name will be clickable to the registration and once the tournament is complete, the results. Junior tournaments are available to players 18 and under where Open tournaments are available to anyone, and Adult tournaments are available for those 19 and over.

View all of the tournaments below, or use the search box to filter the available tournaments to specific types. Use the various types below to find tournaments to match your expectations. Tournaments can be targeted at both juniors and adults as well as host a number of different category types.
Junior Types:
- Rising Star (U8/U9/U10 – Special U10 points awarded for regional competition)
- Rookie Tour (recreational – no points awarded)
- 2* / 3* / 3.5* / 4* / 5* – Competitive categories for juniors. Higher level events provide more points and attract stronger players. New competitors would normally start with lower star events, while seasoned competitors working towards Atlantic’s or Nationals would play 3.5* and 4* events.
- Juniors can also normally play in Open events as well.
Adult Types:
- Open### – Open tournament – anyone can play. ### indicates points awarded (higher = more points).
- Skill Based – Adult tournaments with skill based categories based on NTRP and/or WTN (World Tennis Number).
- Example: NTRP 2.5 = WTN 30+ Men/32+ Women
- NTRP 3.0 = WTN 28+ Men/30+ Women
- NTRP 3.5 = WTN 26+ Men/28+ Women
- NTRP 4.0 = WTN 24+ Men/26+ Women
- NTRP 4.5 = WTN 22+ Men/23+ Women
- NTRP 5.0 = WTN 20+
- MT# – Adult tournament (Masters Series – 30+) with age based categories. # = points available, lower number equals more points available.
- MT### – ITF Masters Tournament designation. ### = points available, higher number equals more points.
